It’s official! Future popped the question on Ciara’s birthday, giving her a giant engagement ring to seal the deal — and we got to EXCLUSIVELY chat with the celebrity jeweler behind Ciara’s brand new bling right here, who told us Future was very involved every step of the way! In fact, he even gave them a strict deadline — he clearly wanted to make sure it was a birthday to remember.

It sure looks like birthday engagements are in style! Just weeks after Ciara‘s close friend, Kim Kardashian, received a birthday engagement from her future hubby Kanye West, it was Ciara’s turn! Although the “Body Party” songstress’ 28th birthday was on Oct. 25, Future waited until Oct. 27 to give her a very special birthday surprise — and it’s certainly one she’ll never forget! He proposed to the songstress, presenting her with a flawless, 15-carat engagement ring — now that’s a birthday to remember!

Ciara’s Engagement Ring:

We spoke with Joseph Aranbayev, one of the owners of celebrity jeweler Avianne & Co., who told us Future was involved, every step of the way, in designing the 15-carat stunner. “He [Future] was involved in the whole process of helping us design the ring. He didn’t miss a beat! Elliot Avianne, head of our entertainment division, flew to meet him all over to go over the progress of the ring. We met him in Miami, LA, Atlanta…just to make sure it was perfect,” he said. “He had a very strict deadline. We didn’t know why, all we knew was that he wanted to have the ring ready for Oct. 25.” While Future was very involved with the process, Ciara definitely didn’t suspect it! “It was a total surprise,” he told us.

So, what makes up the amazing sparkler? “The center stone is 8 carats, and the two side diamonds are about 2 1/2-carats a piece. Graduating emerald cuts, from largest to smallest, go all the way around the shank of the ring. In order to achieve that look we had to cut and create the specific sizes for the ring — it’s very hard to do,” Joseph said. The NYC-based jewelry store is known for their exquisite work and attention to detail and have countless fans in the celebrity set.

It took over a month to come up with the one-of-a-kind creation. “It took a little over a month, 45 days in total to create the ring from start to finish,” Joseph said. He also weighed in on the special couple. “They are great people. I can’t tell you how down-to-earth Future is and he was very helpful throughout the entire process.”

The ring is certainly exquisite — and according to sources, “he spent a hefty penny on it.”

Future Proposes To Ciara:

The couple was celebrating the “Get Up” singer’s birthday in NYC when Future proposed — and the songstress couldn’t contain her excitement, taking to twitter to share her special day with her fans.
