My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person; he believed in me.
"To believe in someone means to see beyond who they think they are with enough love to plant a seed of hope. That hope provides a never-ending faith in them. Specifically, it means that encouragement, love and support will remain strong not only during the mountain times but also during the low times as well. Is there someone in your life that provides or has provided unending support to you ? How has that served you in your journey through life? Believing in someone does not mean financially supporting them. That type of support simply robs them of their own dignity to provide. Genuine belief in someone conveys the attitude that the person is worthy, valued, and matters and that they have the fortitude to overcome a hopeless situation. Who in your life needs showered with an unending amount of encouragement? It could mean the difference between under the radar living or soaring like an eagle living. Only God compels that kind of love. The journey begins with believing in Him and seeing others as God sees them. The greatest joy is watching someone soar like an eagle and knowing you had a small part in getting them off the ground and into the air!
