2015 General election security Alert

As activities leading to the 2015 general election climax with the Presidential and Parliamentary elections holding on Saturday 28th March 2015 and the Gubernatorial and State Assembly elections scheduled for April 11th 2015 respectively, tension within and between the two major political parties suggest the country is heading towards a very volatile and vicious electoral contest which might deepen Nigeria’s already grave security crises.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES:
To avoid any harm during this period, we advise members of staff as follows:-
1.         Avoid areas where Political rallies are being held.
2.         Do not engage in politicking in public places if you are not directly involved in the contest.
3.         Always seek for information about current happenings in your area of abode to avoid being taken by surprise.
4.         Keep family members away from public places e.g. malls, halls, rallies etc.
5.         Do not engage in Political argument as it may degenerate to a fight
6.         Vote and leave the polling booths unless you are directly involved in the contest.
7.         If possible avoid moving alone. There is strength in numbers.
8.         Be calm and alert always.
9.         Know emergency numbers to contact in case you require assistance ( 122, 767, 08032003913, 08065754338, 07055462708, 08088447429)
