13 Ways to get a guy to notice you at school

You’ve seen a cute #boy at school, but he doesn’t seem to know you exist. What can you do? Here are 23 trusted pointers to attract his attention...

1. PERSONAL HYGIENE ...

While it might seem silly, if you don’t have good personal hygiene, you’ll attract #attention for all the wrong reasons. Check out how to ensure yours is up to scratch, and make sure that you regularly shower and wash your clothes. It can be easy to forget this at school! It’s also worth looking at the ranges of deodorant available, as some, such as Aquolina come in gorgeous bottles, perfect for school bags, and have a mesmerising smell!

2. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS ...

If you’re in the #lunch line, ask him about his favourite food, or if you’re in the gym, talk sports. Keep the conversations light and on topic, and don’t drag them on. This will give you several chances to talk to him each day, and definitely put you on his radar. Click here for some #tips on how to talk to anyone.

3. GUYS LIKE A CHASE ...

While you may feel like shortening your skirt and chewing your pencil, guys much prefer having a #chase. Be less obvious, and he’ll soon be wondering why.

4. LEND HIM THINGS ...

Make sure you have the equipment you need for each subject, and be around in case he needs #things. For example, lend him a pencil or ruler in Geography, and he’ll have to bring it back to you. This’ll create another opportunity for conversation, and guys love organized girls.

5. QUESTION, COMMENT, COMPLIMENT ...

When I was at school, I was a hopeless flirt. My saving grace was my #best friend, who came up with the QCC style of flirting. For example, if you’re waiting for lunch, ask him what he thinks of the chicken. Comment on how nice it looks, and then #compliment him in some way as you walk away. Do this a few times, and he’ll be hooked.
Other Great Tips on Dating:

6. KNOW WHEN IT’S OKAY TO LIE ..

While it’s important to be honest about your feelings, when it comes down to finding his friend hot or hating his mum’s cooking, it’s better to tell a little white lie. He’ll appreciate you shielding his feelings

7. HUMOUR HIM ...

Watching the game at lunch #time? Cheer when his team scores. While you might not actually care, it’ll make him feel great, and it’s always good to share some interests. Who knows, you might actually enjoy it! I used to hate football, but after attending a few matches with my #boyfriend, I’m now an expert in positions and tactics.

8. TALK TO HIS FRIENDS ...

One of the most important #things to a guy at school is his friends. If you can build up friendships with them, he’ll be much more relaxed about making you his #girlfriend, as he’ll know they already like you and that you’d fit in well. Check out how to make friends, for some tips on how to get close to them.

9. HAVE SOME CONFIDENCE!

No one will notice you if you hide yourself in the shadows, so make sure that you have some confidence in yourself. Give yourself a makeover, or go out with friends, and boost your self esteem.

10. BE YOURSELF!

This one is one of the most important. Make sure that whatever you do, you don’t neglect who you really are.

13. SIT NEAR HIM

If you have the same lunch period, sit at his table. If you have a class with him, sit somewhere close so you can talk easily. You obviously don't want to #look like you're stalking him, but it's not a bad idea to keep him close.
