Jump Squats
Burn, baby, burn! You may need new legs for two days; however, the long term benefit of doing this will strengthen your thigh and buttock muscles as well as increase your neural output and muscle recruitment. This is a power house exercise, that will leave you feeling like you had to carry a bus, but keep at it and reap the rewards.

Balance ball
Balance ball
Long thought of as only used in yoga classes, the benefits of the balance ball is evident by all who use it. An increase in balance not only strengthens muscles, but also reduces the risk of injury. The balance ball is also used to increase strength levels. It has the ability to work many different muscle groups based on the angle and application.
Stretching serves a very important function: it helps to warm up the muscles before an exercise set, which means that the chance of injury is reduced. It increases flexibility which in turn increases range of motion, assists in better circulation, reduces stress and assists by alleviating lower back pain. A by-product of stretching is the increased focus on breathing. Breathing assists in getting enough oxygen in the blood, which houses a whole host of other benefits.
