| Targema Tarkema, secretary to state government of Benue |
According to reports teaching us, we learnt that the secretary to the Benue state government, Targema Tarkema was immediately rushed to the teaching hospital in the state capital after collapsing around 11 o’clock in the morning.
While giving details of what actually happened regarding the condition of Targema Tarkema, one of the family members who requested that his name should not be mentioned said the SSG had a brain tumour.
The Punch gathered that the Benue state executive meeting which lasted for almost 24 hours could have worsened his fragile health condition.
Likewise, the special adviser to the Benue state governor Samuel Ortom on Media and ICT, Mr Tarhav Agerzua confirmed that the SSG has been receiving treatment at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi.
