We at Social Media wish to condemn at the strongest term the arrest, deportation, detention and the continuing detention of one blogger called Mr Ismail Mabai by the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) at the instance of the Katsina State Government.
The arrest and detention of the blogger without any iota of doubt is one of the political suicide committed by the present Katsina State Government, being the blogger as we were reliably informed one of the adent supporters of the present Katsina State Government and his blogging contributed immensely to the success of the Government in the 2015 polls.
We wish to emphatically remind the Katsina State Government that we at Social Media in 2013 when the Former Governor Ibrahim Shehu Shema was maliciously prosecuting the present SSG Dr Mustapha Inuwa, we were at the forefront of the SSG's support, attending his two criminal and civil cases that were hatefully ,malignly, malignantly, spitefully, viciously and the show of power, filed by the Former Governor Shema before Chief Magistrate Court 1 and High Court 2 of the Katsina State. Where is the Shema now and where is the Dr Mustapha Inuwa? That is God! We believe the persecution suffered by the present SSG from Governor Shema has contributed largely for him to occupy his present exalted seat. That is why Mr Jamilu Mabai is day by day getting popularity at the Social Media community.
We wish to categorically without any fear of contradiction state that Katsina State cannot and will never finish the war it intends to wage against its citizens (Social Media Activists) and to take note that Mr Ismail Mabai commits no offence under our constitutional democratic set up, hence, we demand his release forthwith and unconditionally.
