Please, stop sending me videos or pictures you caption as 'see how they are killing TIV, Hausa or Fulani' just because you want to draw sympathy or provoke one's anger. I will block you immediately.
Are the people dying not Nigerians?
Please, let's be careful with how we disseminate messages. The mainstream media are not helping matter as well. They are the architect of ethnic profiling.
Let's seek for Justice because they are Nigerians and not because they are from one tribe or the other.
Tribal bigotry is Nigeria number one enemy while religious bigotry is the cancerous cancer eating deep into our national peace.
I call for justice for all. Once there is equality, fairness and justice there will be peace.
This government is becoming worst day by day.
Audacious impunity and nepotism are killing the country and the government is aware of it.
All these old docile leaders should be flushed out, they have lived their lives already and they have nothing to lose hence the continuing conspiracy silence.
They want to create problems for us so that we will have enough problems to deal with when power reaches our turn.
Government claimed they have defeated terrorism of which I commend their efforts but they should tell us which terrorism they defeated and to where it was defeated.
What about communal clashes?
What about rattles between herdsmen and farmers?
Should we just close our eyes and pretend nothing is happening?
Nigerians are dying everyday and they are not victims of Boko Haram but victims of preventable crisis.
What would be the cost of not taking action now?
Armed violence and insecurity have a destructive impact on a country’s development, affecting economic growth and often resulting in long-standing grievances among communities.
Violence, in all its forms, has a pervasive impact on societies. Violence affects children’s health, development and well-being, and their ability to thrive. It causes trauma and weakens social inclusion.
We must demand for Justice and strong institutions. Why?
Lack of access to justice means that conflicts remain unresolved and people cannot obtain protection and redress. Institutions that do not function according to legitimate laws are prone to arbitrariness and abuse of power, and less capable of delivering public services to everyone.
Let's stop bigotry.
To exclude and to discriminate not only violates human rights, but also causes resentment and animosity, and could give rise to violence.
