AWAKE THE GIANT IN YOU!
Let me start by writing a short story on how I came about
this topic. A friend of mine was asking me about my blog and if he should be
expecting a new article on my blog and I rejoined that I couldn’t think of anything
to write. I wasn’t really getting inspiration from anything so I couldn’t think
of anything to write to I have some unedited articles I was still looking for
more to write on. As we became talking
in his statement he told me about the story of Napoleon and wrapped it up with
the saying “in every man that there is a sleeping giant”. I caught that words
and I noted it down and decided I was going to make it my topic. I am not
writing straight rather I am writing unsystematically.
Oh I'm broke!
Oh my bank account is reading zero balance
I'm living my life in poverty
I don't even have that person to call my own all because I’m
a poor person... Have you ever been in this kind of mood? Then you need to
redefine your definition of a poor person.
What is your definition of a poor person?
If you think you are a poor person because you can’t give
yourself much pleasure sorry write these words; 'you are not poor it is your
thinking that is poor. Within every man is a giant that need to be awake and if
you cannot awake that giant in you and you do not want to help yourself you
will spend the rest of your life in the desert.
Many of you left the village hopping things will turn around
for good in the big cities but on getting to the city it becomes a desert for
you.
THE EVENING STAGE
Evening is a season of time. Evening never end in a day it
is a continuous process it will keeps coming every day. It is also your late afternoon; it is twilight
when the sun has to go down. It is a rounding up time. It is a time set aside
for self-examination and self-appraisal. Evening and night goes together the
evening determines what the night will look like. Evening is an aspect of your
life when everything is bad. Although you came, you saw but there were nothing
for you to conquer.
The evening aspect of your life is the stage of fear of what
the night will become. When you are afraid to face the night you will never
overcome the night. Most people are afraid to go to sleep because they don’t know
what the night will bring to them. Evening
is supposed to be the hour you will count all your achievements in life but its
night’s time already you don’t even know what to do because there is nothing to
show for your hard work. Evening brings
fear-fear triggers weeping.
Many thought in their lowest sense of reasoning that father Abraham
was a fool at 75 but his story changed. You can be a fool at 40 and become wise
at 41.
The evening is the hour the enemies chastises you they don’t
know that between you and your breakthrough is a process and God allowed it so don’t think it’s by
accident God is still on the process of sketching your life what you are seeing
now is just the sketch view.
LOOK BEYOND THIS
DESERT
Desert is a place punishment, sufferings and gnashing of
teeth. Your desert is a stage of your life where nothing grows. It’s a stage
where you compare your life with the lives of others. You judge your choice
career by what you see around you compare yourself to as being useless and
unproductive.
Don’t judge your career by the look of your friend’s wealth.
Don’t judge your condition by the look of your friend’s wealth.
When you are in the desert you must be determine not to let
yourself be cut off by the road side.
It is at the desert stage of your life that you want to look
good but you cannot afford a good clothing, food and shelter. In the desert
there is no good news because everything is empty and but clear.
In the desert nobody will give you any new things all you
will get are their old things and they will still make jest of you because they
feel that they have arrive their destination and they are your giant strides
forgetting that when the ‘’G and ‘’I’’ before Giant is removed what they are is
just an ordinary ‘’ANT’’
Those people who thinks that they are your giant strides are
just the same as you are in that desert stages so do not look to them as
God. Learn to appreciate people and what
they give to you at the desert stage of your life it is only when you have the
attitude of gratitude that God will change your story to glory. The only thing
that differentiates #STORY from #GLORY is the 'ST and GL'' they both ends with
"#ORY" your life could be a story to tell or a glory to share the choice
is yours to make- but port to the good sides of life- with no story there won’t be glory you can't skip the story stage.
God will never leave in the desert place. He sympathizes
with you and his wish for you is to see you go through the desert stage. In the
desert do not look for pleasure put you into pressure.
In that desert, you may not have a house but you have a
heart. You may not have a friend but you have a destiny friends may abandoned you
but your destiny will not. When you get too agitated in the desert the devil
will give you a picture of impossibilities and that’s the stage when you
misinterpret the favor of God.
Be watchful and take advantage of every opportunity that
passes your way.
You must have a clear vision of who you want to be in future
You must be an extrapolator- your ability to think ahead of
time and in advance.
When you are in the desert you must have survival instinct. It
is your concentration and your mind that can take you out of the desrt.
THE VILLAGE STAGEMany who cannot make it in the desert decided to go back to the village. The village is the ‘vain age’ stage where things are not working well and you decide to go back to where you are coming from. The village stage is where you lose focus and concentration. You lost your survival instinct in you. The village is a stage where you beginning to think that your suffering could be attached to some people who do not want to see you move forward in life and all you could do is return back to village so you can fight back.
SECURE YOUR FUTURE
The desert is a stage where you discover who you want to be
in the future, your choice career and how you want to design your life. It is a
stage where you must extrapolate at all times and you must always do it in
advance it will make you see beyond the desert.
If you cannot secure your future you will get to your future
and you will find out that there is nobody in your future to take care of you. Whatever
that will bring fame to you it is thesame thing will bring shame to your destiny. After your desert appreciate everyone in your
life. Many are just too a shame of their parents because of their financial
background. They are living large in the cities while their parents are in pennilessness.
If you are ashame of the womb that
brought you forth to life you will be a shame of the destiny that will bless
you.
You must learn how to motivate yourself if there is nobody
around to motivate you. Learn to be your own cheerleader. Take advantage of
everything look for good in every situation.
When the evenings come will you be proud to say “I came, I
saw and I conquered?”
