Former Aviation minister Femi Fani Kayode has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of being insensitive in his latest appointment of Ibrahim Magu as the new Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) boss.
Olu-Kayode has held many public offices in the past: he is a former minister for culture and tourism, spokesman to President Olusegun Obasanjo and spokesman for President Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign.
He took to social media to voice his concern.
“Yet another northerner has been appointed to head the EFCC,” he tweeted on his handle @realFFK

It came hours before President Buhari demanded mass retirement of some 19 permanent secretaries—and a day before his new cabinet of ministers is sworn in.
Olu-Kayode has been very vocal on social media about all headline issues—from the tribunal ruling in Taraba to protest by pro-Biafra groups.
