THE TIME TO RESCUE NIGERIA IS NOW: JOIN OCCUPYUNLTD

Nigeria has three key problems that when tackled by an engaged people can create a legacy of Good Governance going forward. They are as follows:


#OCCUPYNASSUNLTD: The National Assembly is not making laws but persistently and perpetually breaking laws in Nigeria. Their budget is always secret; they refused joining the TSA; they are always involved in budget insertion and padding; they are using their constituency projects as corruption conduit pipes; they are seeking immunity instead of killing the immunity clause for criminal matters; they are allowing local governments to suffer when they can initiate a process removing the joint account between States and LGAs; they are running away from passing any bill that will attract death penalty for looters of public funds etc. we the people must be prepared to remind them that real power lies in our hands and they must become real lawmakers....#OCCUPYNASSUNLTD must be an eternal obligation for those interested in real change should JOIN US.

#OCCUPYEFCC: The EFCC and several security agencies saddled with the responsibility of enforcing the law are criminally docile. If there are established corruption cases in NASS, who has the responsibility to investigate and prosecute? These agencies have become enemies of the people; they are not effective and mostly corrupted by the demonic political class. Investigation and prosecution must be thorough considering the antics of the Nigeria judiciary. The judiciary is becoming a clog in the wheel of progress with regards corruption cases because the EFCC and other security agencies have not systematically brought corrupt judges and lawyers to trails. If the EFCC will not show the Nigerian people that they are capable of effective investigation and successful prosecution, it is time for the people to get ready to #OCCUPYEFCCNOW.

#OCCUPYRMAFC: Saudi Arabia with an external reserve of about $700billion has cut the wages and bonuses of politicians by 20-30%. Nigeria with an external reserve of $25billion has refused to act and that failure is not on the part of NASS but the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC). What is that agency of government doing with regards the over-bloated salaries and allowances of political office holders in Nigeria? It is time to review the salaries and allowances of politicians at the federal level by 70%. If RMAFC is afraid, we the people are prepared to #OCCUPYRMAFCNOW: until wages and allowance of political office holders are reviewed downward by 70%. No politician should earn more than a permanent secretary with both salaries and allowances.

We moved the date to occupy *from 10/10 to 15/11/2016* so that all these agencies will respond to our queries and their answer must be to the Benefit of the people. We as a people must know that our determination to change our country is like an addiction to cocaine. Once injected or sniffed you become hyperactive and mostly uncontrollable. We are defiant, determined and willing to give our all for the good of this country. A People United can never be Defeated.
