Our interview with SABC this afternoon has been cancelled as a result of my pronouncement on eTV earlier today stating that Nigeria is South Africa’s older brother and our citizens should be treated with respect.
I am not surprised that the management of these media houses took umbrage – it’s not like the South African govt make it their duty to remind their people that the Nigerian govt bankrolled Mandela’s ANC back in the 70s and 80s.
Our universities were full of South African students being sponsored by the Nigerian govt. We played a very significant role in bringing about the end of apartheid.
The South Africans have repaid our generosity with bloodshed and xenophobia; their government almost turning a blind eye to the incessant killings of Nigerians in South Africa.
Once again, let me reiterate: the #TakeItBack Movement and subsequent government will NOT tolerate the flagrant waste of Nigerian life – whether at home or abroad.
So the South African media houses may pull shows and may try to change the narrative, but please note that the message remains the same – the hurricane is coming and it will demand justice.

Maybe the South African government thinks Sowore will not speak firmly on the incessant killings of Nigerians by South Africans like other past and present government has done. This is unfortunate because other Nigerian leaders have handled this wanton killings with kid gloves and not interested about the lives of Nigerians in diaspora.
President Buhari will rather go abroad and tell the world that Nigerians are criminals and the youths are lazy sitting down waiting for free education, housing, heath care etc and claiming Nigeria is an oil producing nation. What a shameless president who's feeding fat and wasting the nation's resources going abroad for vacations, medical treatments gulping billions of naira..
