Comrade Haruna Yusuf Abba is a 23 year old Nigerian from Plateau state, Jos North Local Government Area contesting for the position of Member, Plateau House of Assembly representing Jos North North Constituency under the umbrella of People's Coalition Party.
Young Haruna who is a Political science student in the prestigious University of Jos says "My drive and vision towards being your representative is to see and ensure a prosperous Jos North in which there is mutual trust, where employment and development opportunities exist for all irrespective of creed, religion or background."

REFORMATION 2019
Comr. Haruna Yusuf Abba for Jos North North Constituency 2019.
One of the bane and clog to the wheel of development in our constituency is the lack of adequate and proper representation. Have you had an introspection as to what has been happening to primary healthcare, education most especially public schools, Security, Socio economic development, youth and women empowerment, and Youth participation in Governance in our constituency?
Have you had an introspect as to the availability of portable and good drinking water in our constituency?
Do you know that we have what it takes to remedy most, if not all of these anomalies?
An executive function most of it are. But with a vibrant and egalitarian representative, projects that will remedy most of these problems can be brought to our constituency via the instrumentality of lobbying. Moreso each representative has a certain amount set aside for constituency project. This fund can be adequately and properly utilised by channelling it to projects that will meet up the immediate needs of the constituency.
Every community in the constituency have its own peculiar problems, that require its own peculiar response.
On this, a survey to identify the immediate needs of the communities will be carried out on a community to community base; and the identified needs will be addressed.
Some of the needs that can be funded by the amount set aside for constituency project will be addressed directly by me; and for those that cannot, the powerful instrument of lobbying will be implored and projects that will solve the problems will be brought to the communities.
Apart from the physical and social amenities that are lacking in the community; the constituency is blessed with a pile of Human resources that have remained untapped, ideas that have remained docile and unharnessed.
These human resources and ideas we intend to harness and aid via the empowerment programmes that will be brought forth most of which will focus on bursting and strengthening the entrepreneurial skills of the constituents.
It is not rocket science, it has been done, as we have seen it done in other constituencies that have been fortunate to have good and egalitarian representatives.
My drive and vision towards being your representative is to see and ensure a prosperous Jos North north in which there is mutual trust, where Employment and development opportunities exist for all irrespective of creed, religion or background.
As your representative, accessible I will be to all and sundry as my constituency offices will be open and active to receive complaints, suggestions, and information from the constituents. Such information, complaints and suggestions will be addressed.
Alone I know I can't do it, but together we can. A greater, peaceful and prosperous Jos North North we are all craving for. Greater, peaceful and prosperous we shall make our constituency.
