The Gardens of the Equinox project is the result of a meeting in Johannesburg between the pianist Jill Richards and the composer and musician Christophe Fellay.

This exploration gives rise to a back and forth exchange between improvisation, contemporary writing and the sounds of today’s Africa, urban and rapidly changing, and is based on the theme of the equinox. The elements that make up day, night, time, travelling from one source of light to another are displayed in the compositions and in the relationship between the pianist and the percussionist. It is a magic and bewitching journey; a fascinating concert.
The College of the Arts (Cota) will host this special concert on Thursday, 27 February, at 19h30. Tickets can be bought at the door for N$50 and N$20 for pensioners and students
