"The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. One should lie empty, open, voiceless as a beach waiting for a gift from the sea." How serene, quiet and inviting a beach is to many. But it's the elderly and little children that are drawn to the ocean like ants on honey. The beach waits quietly for its next visitors; it's next treasure to wash ashore; its next encounter. Because you see, time is empty for children and seniors like a beach waiting for its guests. Both children and the elderly look to interact with the little things in their surroundings, the playful things, the curious things and see them as cherished moments. Although voiceless and at the mercy of others, they know the secrets of life. Let go of anxiety, greed and impatience and be in wait of God's presents and Presence.
