Just so we put the records straight, former President Goodluck Jonathan did commission the Abuja-Kaduna rail in 2014.
It should be recalled that many of such projects were commissioned but the APC, using its advantage in the media and extreme negativity, tried to cast aspersions and demean the projects. They even said it was on paper even when the videos and pictures were in the public domain and their gullible followers,

overwhelmed by their hatred and disdain for the former President, refused to give him any credit. The reality is, these projects are there and will continue to testify to what really happened during that period.
The former agric minister, Akinwumi Adeshina just won an award again for his Cassava revolution. Also recall that Buhari just recently ordered the release of tons of grains from the reserves stored during Jonathan's Era.
While we must also acknowledge that government is a continuum and therefore this present government should be commended for putting it to use, we must however not distort the fact. The fact is that the present government didn't build it. In fact, the first budget of this government just got passed and they have barely started implementation so you cannot ascribe the project to them.
Truth be told, Goodluck Jonathan was an exceptional President who only got the stick from a section of Nigerians whose goal was to grab power by all means and they used every trick in the books to try to smear him and paint him bad.
Like the saying goes "give a dog a bad name in order to kill it!"
