MANILA -- For the first time, Jay-R transformed into an artist from the opposite sex as he impersonated Beyonce in Sunday's episode of "Your Face Sounds Familiar."
Jay-R performed the hit song "Single Ladies," much to the delight of the judges.
"That was awesome! In fairness kay Jay-R, I couldn't imagine what you're gonna do, how you're gonna do it eh. That was not an easy thing," Sharon Cuneta told Jay-R, adding it was difficult to sing high notes while dancing.
Jed Madela agreed with Cuneta, noting how Jay-R's voice changed at different points in his performance.
"Yung na-impress talaga ako sa 'yo 'yung pagsayaw mo ng buong sequence ng 'Single Ladies.' The show went on, the performance went on, that's what I really like," he added.
Gary Valenciano, on the other hand, praised Jay-R for his confidence and commitment, which he said made him convincing.
"You did well, Jay-R, let's see what's going to happen," he said.
