*************************************,
This information posted by katsinapost.com.ng has raised dust in the cyber space as many indigenes of Katsina state claimed not to be aware of the said competition when posted on the social media.
DPA Blog was made to understand that the noted figures were never revealed by the Permanent Secretary during the event that took place in Katsina state last week Thursday. Mr. AbdulHadi Ahmad Bawa from Katsina state categorically without mincing words claimed via a Facebook comment that "Yes KTS will host the National Qur'anic recitation competition but the LOC is yet to complete its job not to talk of the report being submitted and accepted by the Government. Where and how the said figure (N350m) was arrived at is what we will wait for from the author. I honestly don't understand what "burial implement" is, I would have asked how the quoted N5b came about."
"I just spoke with the PS and he denied giving such figures at the said event." He added.
When asked if the permanent Secretary is going to officially publish a disclaimer to that effect? We are yet to receive a positive response from him as at the time of filling this report.
From the little we can write, Governor Amino Bello Masari is one of the Northern governors that try as much as possible to balance his government to favour both religion in the state. Indigenges and non-indigenges. Governor Masari is a God fearing leader, who does not discriminate against religion, tribe or creed. He is a great man who entertains all shades of constructive opinions and ideas aimed at bringing progress in Katsina state.
More details to follow.
