Recently, I read a book it was so inspiring. I became so thoughtful after reading the book. I wondered why is not everyone that started a project that has the determination to finish. Be it Governmental or private or an individual contract. Do we have the focus and determination to finish it? I meditated within me;”do I have the determination to finish? I asked myself, have I ever finished whatever project I take on? Just like the athlete, have you ever seen an athlete who sprinted off the blocks in a race but then sustained muscle cramps or tired out midway into the race?
Though she was ahead of others, she didn't get the GOLD MEDAL because she didn't finish the race. That’s the way some people are in life. As I meditated, it became clearer to me. The fact that she started the race well and stopped midway due to cramps no body congratulated her because she didn't win the race! It saddle how many people who started well just like every other person and tried so hard to achieve in life breakdown at the long run they couldn't sustain or fight back at life and they gave up. They may have started out with great enthusiasm and excitement in carrying out the responsibilities committed to them but they didn't well-they burn out along the way. When responsibility is committed to you be it at home, school, or place of your primary assignment, put in your best.
Don’t just pass through life without affecting your world positively. Let everyone who came across you have something good to talk about. Pass through life and let life to pass through you. I could still remember while I was in school, one of the lecturers used to advice us to not just pass through school without the school passing through us. We have to leave better thoughts for people to talk about. No matter where you find yourself, leave a landmark open up history let everybody discussed you. Do not be a sadist to your world leave a beautiful dashboard everyone can reckoned with. Discipline yourself to finish it well and strong. No matter how well you take off on the task, you must have a strong determination for an excellent finish. The end of a matter is better than the beginning.
Consequently it’s not all about starting out a project, a journey or endeavor; there must also be the determination to finish well and strong. Be indispensable be the one who can be depended upon to see a project through to an excellent end. Don't be that person who always start things out and never complete them. Don't be a jack of all things and expert of none! Have the determination for excellent finish. Stick to the task at hand until it's excellently accomplished.
