Like Your Deodorant, Use Common Sense

"Common sense is like deodorant. The people who need it the most never use it. "
The common thought is that common sense is a very valuable quality. So why do some people do foolish things like: drive a car with the gas gauge on empty, refuse to ask directions when lost, or begin to build a project without a plan. What are the barriers to people using common sense? Perhaps the barriers come in the form of a weakness. Some weaknesses that might interfere with the use of common sense could be: shyness, impatience, scattered thinking, pride in self, insecurity, embarrassment, boastful, over inflated ego, or perhaps stubbornness. Like your deodorant, use common sense and avoid a blooper. Consider replacing a weakness with common sense. Life not only will flow more smoothly, but will be less foul and distasteful.
