Arapaho - Native American Indian says: "When we show our respect for other living things, they respond with respect for us."
How do we show respect for trees, animals, bugs, flowers, soil and such things in nature? Could it be that instead of squishing a bug the next time one gets lost inside our house, that we safely transport it in a container back to its home in the outdoors. Respect is also shown when we refuse to pollute the soil, air, and landscape with our litter. Earth's nutrients will continue to give back in a healthy environment. Admiring, valuing and preserving trees is not only respectful of nature but scientifically has been proven valuable for human life. Trees give us an invisible gift of rejuvenation by their very nature. At the very minimum, a dense forest produces a dense oxygen supply from which our bodies benefit. Have you ever noticed how a walk in the park can de-stress the workaholic, the worrier, the tense, nervous nature of man.
Have you ever noticed how a walk by the ocean can regulate the blood pressure, tense and nervous nature of a man.
Destroy nature, and you destroy man. Value nature and nature will value you.
